Today, the SERGI systems are the sole technology for avoiding tank explosions and therefore oil fires during transformer short-circuits. More than 3000 systems have been sold in 46 countries since the year 1995.

SERGI India is taking advantage of an experience of more than 50 years in the design of oil-filled transformer explosion and fire prevention systems. Since 1955, the parent company SERGI France, has been specialized in this field. In 1992, SERGI France has started an intensive investigation in order to understand all parameters related to transformer explosions and fire. As a result, in 1995, SERGI launched an extensive research program that led to the evolution and invention of SERGI new technologies.

As an answer to the growing market of Asia in the Energy Sector, the SERGI India subsidiary has been opened in India at the specific location of Gurgaon (Most reputed industrial area around New Delhi) to provide Asia with a dedicated production site and after sale service.
